OBR Kandriga Village – Rural & Tribal Community Support:OBR Kandriga Village is a small tribal village located near hills and a river in the rural region around Puttur, in Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh, India

The people living in this village belong to economically poor tribal and labor communities. Most families depend on daily wage work for survival. Their main occupations include:

• Shepherd work

• Fishing

• Agricultural labour

• Daily wage labour

The village faces many serious challenges and lacks basic facilities for education, healthcare, transportation, and employment opportunities.

Major Problems in the Village

• No Balawadi or early childhood education center

• No hospital or medical facilities nearby

• No transportation or travel facilities available

• Villagers must travel nearly 4 kilometers for basic needs and services

• Very limited employment opportunities

• Most families depend only on labour work for income

• High illiteracy among adults and children

• Poor living conditions and lack of awareness about education and healthcare

Because the village is surrounded by small hills and river areas, development and transportation access are difficult. Many families are isolated from educational and employment opportunities.

Our Appeal:

We request support for the development and welfare of OBR Kandriga Village and its people. The community urgently needs:

• Educational support for children

• Balawadi and school facilities

• Medical camps and healthcare access

• Transportation support

• Food and clothing distribution

• Awareness programs for education and women’s safety
